Originally from Canada and now based in New York City, Katie Ortencio is a dynamic actor, law student, and podcast host who blends creativity with sharp legal expertise.

Katie is currently a Dean's List 3L at New York Law School and holds a bachelor’s degree from Wilfrid Laurier University in Business Administration, with a double minor in Economics and Women's & Gender Studies and a concentration in Strategic Management.

She serves as a Senior Law Clerk at Kahn Media Law, where she drafts and negotiates contracts, manages trademark filings, and handles a wide range of entertainment matters. She also leads the firm's Reputation Management division, advising high-profile creatives on safeguarding and elevating their online presence.

Acting for over 15 years, Katie has appeared in television series, feature films, commercials, and music videos, giving her a unique perspective on the creative industry and bringing real-world insight to her legal and creative roles.

Alongside Nicole Verdi, Katie co-founded and hosts Girls Gone Legal, a resource designed to help young, aspiring, and current lawyers connect, share information, and access guidance on navigating the legal profession.
